88 Hotspring Resort at Calamba, Laguna ^.^

So this will be my first entry for my blog, our first try at Hotspring resort. :)

It was 5th of May 2012 when we first visit 88 Hotspring Resort at Calamba, Laguna. It was recommended by my brother saying it was really a nice place since they had their company team building there just months ago. It was 2 days before my boyfriend’s birthday and we decided to celebrate it in advance and I was really excited!! :)

We meet up at Robinson’s Pala-pala, there was a terminal just beside the mall going to various places at Laguna. We rode a van for about less than 2 hours and when we arrive at SM Calamba, we rode a jeepney just across where there was a terminal going to anywhere I don’t know :) I can’t believe we really got there safe with just some info how to go from google and a map to guide us at least :)

We arrive at the resort and we paid for accommodation, they said no foods are allowed to be brought inside but they do not really check bags so we did brought a few snacks (bad!:)) Since we arrived an hour before check-in time, we decided to go take some pictures of the place. It was lovely and a lot of Koreans was there as well.

I love the landscapes and the wide space to just walk through and relax.

nice view :)

We stayed at a Small Kubo room with Queen size bed for two and cable TV. It was airconditioned but a bit warm and no private toilet, instead, you’ll have to use the common toilet which was few walks away from our room. it has no small table as well for us to share our food so it was hard for us to eat our baon (which was prohibited naman so I understand ;)

i love the clear and lukewarm pools where even if you swim at night, you will not get any chills and no chlorine as well. I love how you can see clearly below waters. This was the first time in my life that I really stayed at the pool for hours. The temperature has therapeutic effect. :) they had 3 large pools and 2 medium sized pools which has large distance also between each other.

warm pool #2 where we stayed most of the time. super clear waters..

Finally, when we got tired, we called it a day and slept soundly in our room. we woke up and swim again for few minutes then we decided to pack up and take more pictures of the place instead.

We haven’t got the chance to try their dishes at the resto since we wanted to keep our budget tight :D there are also nearby fast foods – max’s and jollibee if you have your car. We enjoyed our stay here and until now, I really wanted to plan again for our next visit with friends and family I guess. We checked out at 1130am.

For more info, they have a very detailed website. I really recommend the place, you’ll gonna love it :)
